The FCS - Performance Glass Fatboy Longboard Fin is designed for boards that surfers have trouble holding the tail in while turning hard or nose riding. The foil on the FCS Fatboy Longboard Fin is thick at the base, thin in the middle and thick at the tip creating a bulb. The water flowing over the bulb holds the tail of the board in the water more than a conventional foil due to water pressure. Performance Glass (PG) fins are machine cut from traditional fin panel (laid 4oz/6oz fiberglass sheets and polyester resin) to guarantee foil, template and flex accuracy. The fins are then hand-finished and polished. The resulting material characteristics and flex pattern are identical to traditional fiberglass fins – a stiff base with subtle, responsive tip flex, amazing aesthetics and proven durability. The Performance Glass fins are the perfect transition fin for surfers moving from glass-on fins to the convenience, accuracy and performance of FCS. All FCS fins can be ordered as singles.
