The all new Channel Islands Black Flag Whip Surfboard comes straight from the mind of Kelly Slater, representing his newest edition to his small wave board quiver. It's got the same short, wide outline as the standard Whip, but with a single to double Tri Plane Hull bottom, and a double concave deck instead of a single concave deck. This gets your feet closer to the water line, and the crescent moon tail gives you a bigger release out of the top of the wave. A another signature feature is the carbon fiber strips inlaid from the nose, all the way down until about a foot from the tail, which concentrates the flex in the tail, giving you more spring when coming out of turns.
Good for intermediate to expert surfers, and should be ridden 3 to 4 inches smaller than your normal shortboard, 1/4" wider, and keep the thickness the same.
Available in 5'8", 5'9", 5'10", 5'11", 6'0", 6'1", 6'2", 6'3", 6'4", 6'5", 6'6".
